Watch “The LOBR Difference”

LOBR is a highly specialized breast reduction method using a combination of advanced liposuction techniques. In addition to a breast reduction, the procedure also enhances skin shrinkage, resulting in a breast lift effect with no visible scarring. It is also extremely effective in correcting breast asymmetry.

In this video, Dr. Peter Fodor explains:

  • What LOBR is (and is not)
  • Scars/incision placement
  • Recovery expectations
  • Candidacy and trade-offs
  • Anesthesia and planning
  • Privacy and travel logistics

What LOBR Is

(And What It is Not)

What it is

  • LOBR = Liposuction-Only Breast Reduction
  • Specialized approach using advanced liposuction techniques to reduce volume and encourage skin shrinkage (which can create a lift effect)

What it is not

  • Not a standard breast reduction
  • Not right for everyone
  • Not a substitute for a traditional breast lift when significant repositioning is needed

Advantages for Carefully Selected Patients

No visible scars: typically a tiny incision hidden in the fold

Faster recovery: bruising/swelling often improve 7–10 days

Natural, proportional result: avoids an “operated-on” look

Discreet planning: designed for privacy and efficiency

Dr. Fodor and his staff took the nicest care of me. I love how detailed he is and how he takes his time, and even explained the options (and the pros and cons of each procedure). And the results are just so natural! I would recommend him a million times over!

Dr Fodor and his staff was so courteous to me; I highly recommend him as a doctor. His office was nice and clean and the procedure went as expected and beyond my expectations. He gave me all the information I needed to know about my breast procedure and guided me through the whole time.

Review from Healthgrades

Super happy with my results. I’ve been dealing with weight loss issues for a while. Managed to lose a lot of weight. Had to deal with excess skin.

Dr. Fodor took care of the excess skin, and I look amazing. Thank you.

There are not enough words to express my appreciation and how this surgery really changed my life. Being limited with outfits because strapless bras were too uncomfortable due to my size and going bra-less was not an option. Just thank you millions and millions of times.

Amazing results. So happy. It took me awhile to decide on the plastic surgeon and the procedure.

When I finally met Dr. Fodor, I knew and felt I had found the right plastic surgeon for me. I would recommend him to my family!

It ranges between $5,000 and $15,000. Insurance companies seldom cover costs even for traditional breast reduction. They usually consider LOBR liposuction a cosmetic procedure and will not cover it.

Very mild, if any, initial discomfort. Minimal bruising and swelling that dissipates in seven to 10 days.

General anesthesia just with a mask (LMA) or intravenous sedation and local. Dr. Fodor prefers TIVA, which is a cutting-edge anesthesia treatment that is a combination of the two and diminishes bleeding and post-operative nausea. Dr. Fodor has many years of experience with this modality.
